We have been teaching psychiatrists on The Manchester MRCPsych Course for ten years. We aim to do three things: to teach psychiatry well, with a particular emphasis on recent advances in research and clinical practice which are not covered in standard textbooks; to focus ruthlessly on the subjects which are central to the MRCPsych exams; and to help get you through a difficult set of exams.

We have divided the college syllabus into 30 modules, teaching 10 in each classroom course. Repetition between modules is kept to an absolute minimum. The three classroom weekends thus build to give you a comprehensive picture of current psychiatric practice. Online mock exams launching in July 2010 will help to complete your revision. We hope to make your revision for these exams both simpler and more interesting!

Your feedback about your revision and exam experiences remains essential in improving our courses.
